
The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday that the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases nationwide surged to 6,459 with 200 new positive infections.
“As of 4 p.m., April 20, 2020, the DOH reported 200 new cases of COVID-19,” said the according to the DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin No. 37.
The total number of cases in the country is now at 6,459.
The DOH also reported 19 new deaths for a total of 48.
Meanwhile, 41 new patients recovered, with a total now of 613 recoveries from the disease./Stacy Ang
