Florida bus rams 4 houses injuring 7 people in Bambang Nueva Ecija

on

When one crashes in the same areas twice or thrice, that is not anymore an accident–that’s an expected catastrophe waiting to happen.

In the case of the Florida bus services, a review of their operations in both Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya show that their buses registered more accidents than other bus companies operating in the area.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTRFB) should really suspend Florida bus services INDEFINITELY.

FRESH FROM ITS SUSPENSION AFTER THAT BRUTAL ACCIDENT WHICH CLAIMED 30 LIVES, ANOTHER FLORIDA BUS THIS TIME RAMMED THREE HOUSES IN BARANGAY ABIAN, BAMBANG NUEVA ECIJA FRIDAY NIGHT.

Police investigation show that the Florida bus just came from Manila and was going towards Cagayan when it hit a retaining wall while maneuvering at a curved part of the national highway.

The bus lost control and went at the other side of the highway. The bus hit an electric post first before it directly rammed into the three houses.

PNP Captain Samuel Lopez thinks that the bus lost control probably due to driver’s error. Three commuters sustained serious injuries while four residents of the houses were likewise injured after being hit by hollow blocks.

The bus company promised to compensate the injured.

This is the second time in less than a month that the Florida bus encountered accidents which led to gruesome deaths.

Last February 2, a Florida bus being driven by Guelbert Domingo rammed a pregnant woman and two others to death this time in Aritao in Nueva Vizcaya.

Jen Gallardo-Pantig with several others were pinned between the Florida bus and a tricycle. Pantig’s 2 year old daughter, two nieces and several others were rushed to the hospital and were declared all in critical condition. Jen however, did not survive the accident.
