MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Men’s and Women’s Floorball players gave the Philippines its first two wins in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
The women’s squad delivered the Philippines its first-ever win in the regional meet after whipping Indonesia, 8-1.
The national men’s floorball team, meanwhile, followed it up with another win against Indonesia, 5-4, in the SEA Games floorball competitions.
Jade Rivera led the Filipinas’ charge with a dominating performance, delivering five of her team’s eight goals.
