Another round of oil price rollback is expected before the Lenten break, industry sources said over the weekend.
According to the oil industry source, the projected slash in the price per liter for diesel is set around P1.10 to P1.50.
For gasoline, it is expected to go down by P0.80 to P1.20 per liter.
But according to the Department of Energy they are looking at an estimated price drop of P1.50 for diesel and P1.20 for gasoline.
For kerosene they are projecting a slash by P1.80 to P2 per liter.
Oil companies announce their price adjustments on Monday, and will be implemented on Tuesday.
