Several areas in in Metro Manila and Cavite started having daily water interruptions which will last until March 21, according to utility company Maynilad Water Services.
According to Maynilad, this is “due to prolonged high raw water turbidity brought on by Amihan winds.”
In their social media account, Maynilad said that among those affected include several villages in Las Piñas City, Muntinlupa City and Parañaque City in the NCR.
It also includes Bacoor City, Cavite City, Imus City, Noveleta, and Rosario in Cavite.
The list is available at their Facebook Account.
In line with this, Maynilad advised their customers to store enough water.
“Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears,” they said in the statement.
They also said that mobile water tankers are going around the affected areas to deliver potable water, while its stationary water tanks can be found in several areas.
