Oil price rollback expected next week

Motorists can heave a sigh of relief as pump prices are expected to rollback next week, industry sources told the CurrentPH.

Based on the four days of oil trading, the prices for would translate to a slash in the prices of per liter for diesel by P1.70 to P1.90.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices are expected to go down by P1.00 to P1.20 per liter.

For kerosene on the other hand, may go down by more than P1.90 per liter.

Oil companies usually announce their oil price adjustments on Monday effective on Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, March 15, the fuel companies implemented a per liter decrease of P0.10 for diesel and P0.60 for kerosene and a P1.00 per liter hike for gasoline.

The year-to-date adjustments saw a net decrease of P1.00 per liter for diesel and P1.65 per liter for kerosene.

Gasoline, meanwhile, has a net increase of P6.70 per liter since the start of the year.
