The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday announced the arrest of Luisa and Lester in Tanay, Rizal, during an entrapment operation set-up by the agency.

The operation stemmed from the complaint received by the NBI-Cybercrime Division (NBI-CCD) against the two who were offering land surveying services through social media but were issuing forged lot plans and falsified documents.

It was not decalared as to their relations with each other.

The complainants said they were able to set a meeting with the suspects to engage in a new contract, and pretended to pay their balance from previous engagements.

After the payment was made, the fast-food along Tanay Crossing, Rizal, in coordination with the PNP Tanay, AFP and NBI-Rizal District Office, arrested the suspects and placed them under arrest.

They were charged with Violation of Article 315 (Estafa) under Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6, of RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act); and Article 172 (Falsification of Public Documents) of the Revised Penal Code before the Rizal Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.
