ANOTHER rollback is in the offing, as oil companies announced on Monday a new round of pump price reduction effective Tuesday.
In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil announced that they will cut their diesel prices by P2.20 per liter and kerosene by P2.50.
However, the price per liter for gasoline will remain or will not have any changes.
Petrogazz will implement the same price reduction for diesel. They do not carry kerosene.
The adjustments are effective at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14.
The latest adjustments came after the firms cut down prices last week, their per liter of gasoline by P2.10, diesel by P3.00, and kerosene by P2.30.
Other oil companies have yet to issue formal announcements with their price reduction.
According to the data from the Department of Energy (DOE) the year-to-date net increases is at P5.10 per liter for gasoline, P0.05 per liter for diesel, and P2.25 per liter for kerosene.
