Supporters for the presidential bid of Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso in 2022 have launched the President Isko Movement-Isulong ang Kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino (PRIMO-ISKO).
PRIMO-ISKO founding chairman Barbie Atienza said they witnessed how Domagoso was able to reform and beautify Manila, and believe he can do the same for the whole country.
The group was launched on Saturday attended by leaders from the tourism, urban poor, barangay, solo parents, youth, legal and religious sectors.
Among the officers present during the launch of PRIMO-ISKO are National Chairman NatoAgbayani, Vice Chairman Michael Herrera, and President Juliet Ramos.
Earlier, an urban poor group and an organization of young lawyers expressed their support for Domagoso’s 2022 presidential bid.
He is running under the Aksyon Demokratiko party with health advocate Dr. Willie Ong has his running mate. So far, he has two senatorial candidates in Muslim leader and peace advocate Samira Gutoc and entrepreneur Carl Balita.
Domagoso has yet to file his certificate of candidacy for his presidential bid before the Commission on Elections. Earlier, he was being eyed to be part of the united opposition but said he will not give up his presidential bid and slide down to vice president.
