Social media personality Xander Ford has been detained after his former girlfriend filed a complaint for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

Xander Ford, previously known as Hasht5 member Marlou Arizala, was arrested by police on Tuesday evening, for violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

 According to a newspaper report, police served the arrest warrant in a restaurant in Pasay and was issued by a Manila Regional Trial Court that set the bail at P18,000.

 According to a report from a major news organization, Xander manager confirmed that the 22-year-old singer was previously accused of abuse and attempted rape prior. The manager added that Xander’s actions will not be condoned if proven guilty in court.

 Hence, Xander will be placed under “indefinite suspension” from all show business projects until the legal issue is resolved. CURRENTPH
