The exhibition bout between YouTube personality Logan Paul and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. could become a historic bout or mismatch. Both are set to collide on February 20 next year.

“Floyd trains extensively and I don’t think he’s going to go into this fight and not be prepared. He’s very excited for the fight,” Solomon Engel, founder and CEO of Fanmio told The Sun.

“He sees some big opportunities here, and I don’t want to speak for him but I think we all feel this could be a very historical fight and a number of different levels,” he said.

At around 200 pounds and 6’2”, Logan is definitely bigger than the 5’7” Mayweather whose usually fights at 150 to 155 pounds. And at 25 years old, Logan is also much younger than the 43-year old Mayweather.

“I think it will be a very competitive fight. And to be clear, we have Floyd who is the best fighter and Logan who is a new fighter,” said Engel, who is a key figure in promoting the fight.

“But Logan does have some size difference, he’s many inches taller, many pounds heavier and when you look at the size and how that could affect the match, there’s really no telling what the outcome could be,” he added.

Logan only has one fight that he lost to fellow YouTuber  Olajide “JJ” Olatunji late last year. Mayweather, a former five-division champion, has an unbeaten record of 50-0 with 27 knockouts and is coming off two knockout wins in supposed exhibition bouts. CURRENTPH
