‘Healing Touch’ priest Fr. Larry Faraon dies at 64

Fr. Larry Faraon, host of the radio show “Healing Touch” on Church-run radio station Radio Veritas, died on Sunday morning.

Fr. Larry was 64.

Fr. Larry’s brother Ric confirmed the news, according to a report  on Dobol B sa News TV.

Fr. Larry was first brought to Providence Hospital in Quezon City on Saturday before he was transferred to Capitol Medical Center on Saturday night.

Fr. Larry died past 3 a.m. on Sunday at the intensive care unit due to pneumonia.

According to Ric, Fr. Larry tested negative for COVID-19 via rapid test, but the result of the RT-PCR test has not yet been released.

Fr. Larry just celebrated his birthday on July 4.

He was assigned to the Diocese in Batanes though he has been staying at a seminary in Metro Manila.

“Rest in Peace, Rev. Fr. Larry Faraon. Namaalam na ang Radio Veritas anchor at dating station manager nitong ika-26 ng Hulyo sa ganap na alas-3:06 ng umaga dahil sa Pneumonia,” Radio Veritas said in a Facebook post./Stacy Ang
