The Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines will be closed for three days starting Monday, July 20, to undergo disinfection after a security personnel tested positive for COVID-19, according to the embassy.
According to the Korean embassy’s Facebook post, the security personnel tested positive on July 17.
“A security personnel assigned at the entrance of the Consular Office of the Korean Embassy has been tested positive for COVID19 on July 17, 2020.”
“He has been on duty from Monday (July 13) to Friday (July 17), thus for those who have visited the office during the time should take note.”
“In accordance with prescribed health protocols, the Consular Office of the Korean Embassy will effect a temporary closure for three days to give way to disinfection from July 20 to July 22, 2020.”
“The resumption of services by the Consular Office will be subject to the test results of the Consular personnel,” the embassy also said./Stacy Ang
