The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported 555 more cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)—378 “fresh” or newly validated and 177 reported late—bringing the total to 21,895.

“As of 4PM today, June 07, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 21,895,” said the DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #085.

“In addition to the 378 fresh cases,177 late cases were also reported today. Today’s fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 37 out of 43 current operational labs,” said the DOH.

Number of deaths was reported at 1,003, with 9 new fatalities.

“DOH likewise announces 89 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 4,530,” the DOH said./Stacy Ang
