The Philippines number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases continues to rise as 284 new cases were reported on Monday, bringing the total to 4,932.

“As of 4PM today, the Department of Health reports 284 new cases (PH4,649-PH4,932) of COVID-19.  Total number of cases in the country is now at 4,932,” said DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin #030.

The DOH also reported 18 new deaths. This brings the total number of deaths to 315.
