MPD seizes P6.97 million shabu in Tondo

The Manila Police District (MPD) on Wednesday seized P6.97 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested  a suspect during a buy-bust operation in Tondo, Manila.  

The MPD arrested suspect Kevin Jason, 28, along Dagupan Extension near corner Raxabago Street at around 12 p.m.  

Police  confiscated three plastic sachets containing substances believed to be shabu weighing around a total of 1 kilogram and boodle money amounting to P50,000.

The suspect will face charges for violations of Section 5 (Selling, Distribution, and Transportation of Dangerous Drug), Section 11 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs Act).  

He was brought to PS5-MPD Investigation Office for proper disposition and pending filing of appropriate charges in court./Stacy Ang
