Reports say Sarah Geronimo’s mother Mommy Divine had to “gatecrash” the civil wedding of her daughter to another actor, Matteo Guidicelli yesterday? According to Ricky Lo, eminent entertainment writer, Mommy Divine did not approve of the wedding at all. The wedding pushed thru without Sara inviting her parents in the ceremony. The couple reportedly got their marriage license last February 3.

So, the wedding was what others described as a “hush-hush” and why was it? For all these times, Sarah has been packaged as a “princess”? Why this unsettling , aroyale, wedding? Sarah does not deserve this. She has waited for so long and in the end, all she gets is this? Unfair, really.

Two things: why oppose your daughter’s decision to tie the knot with Matteo? Matteo is single and adorable. He has a tightly knit family. Why is it that Mommy Divine thinks otherwise? Is there some secret reason why Mommy Divine’s instinct oppose that of her daughter?

Sarah is of age already and even if Mommy Divine does not give her consent, that is entirely unnecessary. Those 18 but not yet 21, parental consent is necessary. Sarah and Matteo ages are well past those.
