In what could be a return engagement, the League of Parents of the Philippines (LPP) assailed anew left-oriented party-list groups, a.k.a. Makabayan Bloc in congress such as Bayan Muna, ACT, Gabriela, Kabataan and Anakpawis in another gritty mass action in front of the Comelec office in Intramuros.

Loudly urging the Comelec to “disqualify them,” the LPP accused the Makabayan bloc as “terrorists” and “front of the terrorist CPP/NDF/NPA” even as the group warned the public to “save our children from sweet talks and recruitment.”

It may be recalled that the same group also assembled early this month in front of the DOLE building inside Intramuros where they called on authorities to arrest CPP/NDF/NPA chairman Jose Maria Sison instead of holding the peace talks before burning an effigy-poster portraying Sison and Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello that highlighted their protest-rally.
