Oil companies announce pump price rollback

MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies have announced a rollback in pump prices this week with Cleanfuel being the first to adjust fuel prices Sunday night, reducing the per-liter price of gasoline price by 40 centavos and diesel by 10 centavos.

Petron is expected to cut prices of gasoline and kerosene by 30 centavos per liter and diesel by 10 centavos per liter tomorrow, Tuesday, 10 December 2019.

Pilipinas Shell is also set to roll back gasoline and kerosene by 40 centavos each. The price of diesel stays it said.

Only last week, oil firms raised the price of gasoline by 30 centavos, diesel by 65 centavos and kerosene by 50 centavos.

A Department of Energy data showed a year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P6.82 per liter for gasoline, P3.8 per liter for diesel, and 94 centavos for kerosene. (IAMIGO/Mike Taboy/BENJIE CUARESMA/CNS)
