United States — US President Donald Trump’s administration is now accordingly in the process of removing food stamps to about 700,000 people an international news reported.

Trump said many American beneficiaries of food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP, are no longer needed due to the strong economy and the number of unemployed.

The program provides free food to 36 million Americans.

The US has also restricted the recipients of food stamps that should be from 18 to 49 with no dependents or disability for up to three months. (Marian Sinamban/IAMIGO/CNS)
