PCG, PNP retrieve unidentified cadaver in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), have rescued an unidentified male cadaver at the shoreline of a resort in San Jose, Ternate, Cavite on 03 December 2019.

The cadaver was found with a packaging tape on his mouth and chest. He was 4’7’’ in height, wearing a black shirt and blue maong pants, and had a “Bahala na Gang” tattoo on his back.

Authorities have estimated the cadaver to be between 30 to 40 years old.

A concerned citizen spotted the cadaver and immediately reported the incident to the PCG Sub-Station in Naic, Cavite.

Personnel from the PCG-Special Operation Unit and the PNP Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) in Cavite were also contacted for the conduct of search and retrieval operation.

The joint PCG-PNP search and retrieval team brought the cadaver to the nearest funeral home in Cavite for proper disposition and further investigation. (Benjie Cuaresma/IAMIGO/CNS)
