MANILA, Philippines — 2018 Youth Olympic Games silver medalist and Boracay-based kiteboarder Christian Tio finished 2nd in the 2019 Red Bull King in the Asia-Based Qualifiers on Monday, 25 November 2019, of the 2020 Kiteboarding-Red Bull King of the Air held in Quiding Beach, Taiwan.

Tio topped among all of the Asian competitors in the competition held from November 21 to 25.

Meanwhile, Lewis Crathern of United Kingdom secured a wildcard entry to the KOTA finals next year in Cape Town, South Africa
