Classes suspended up north due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines – Due to the bad weather triggered by Typhoon Ramon and the Bukidnon earthquake, most local government units canceled classes on Tuesday morning (19 November 2019) up north.

Between the afternoon or evening Ramon is expected to arrive over the Babuyan Island, prompting some LGU’s in the northern provinces to call off classes.

Meanwhile, on Monday evening in Kadingilan, Bukidnon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported a 5.9 magnitude earthquake. In Mindanao, this quake also startled some areas and destroyed some infrastructure.

Phivolcs has warned the public of aftershocks.
