MANILA, Philippines – Anti-drugs operatives of Quezon City has accordingly cornered drug suspects in a buy-bust operation at a posh condominium in Quezon City.
Recovered from the suspects were 250 grams of crystalline substance suspected to be shabu whose street value is estimated to be P1.7 million responding operatives of QCPD Galas Station 11 said.
On his report to Police Major Bernardo Pascua Jr., team leader Police Corporal Darel Tomas claimed those arrested in the buy-bust sting were Emilyn Luna (35), a member of LGBT community and resident of 96 Kaliraya St., Barangay Tatalon, QC; Zainodin Encancio (45), a resident of Room 1221 Grass Residences, Nueva Ecija St., corner Nueva Viscaya St., Brgy. Story Cristi, Diliman QC and Merc Mercado (28), a graphic artist resident of No.8 Sun Ville Subdiv., Bgy Vasra, QC.
According to Pascua, the suspects were arrested around 3 a.m. Monday at the condominium being rented by Encancio.
Initial report of the investigation revealed Luna and Mercado as the buyer of shabu while Encancio was tagged as the supplier.
