MANILA, Philippines – Creamline Cool Smashers moved to within a win from sweeping the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference following a quick work off Finals opponent Petro Gazz, 25-14, 25-22, 27-25 on Wednesday, 06 November 2019, at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Volleyball phenom Alyssa Valdez powered the Cool Smashers with 19 points while partner Jia Morado dished out 21 excellent sets.

Jema Galanza had an MVP-like performance and chipped in 15 points along with 10 excellent digs while Michelle Gumabao produced 10 markers.

With the Cool Smashers’ win last night, they remain unbeaten in the conference after 17 games, a win shy from completing an 18-game title sweep.
