MANILA, Philippines – Locating tombs of departed loved ones can be a daunting task at times especially when cemeteries are awash with people of all sizes and shapes and flooded with lighted candles.

But sweat no more for Juana and Juan because the Manila North Cemetery has simply found a high-tech way of helping you and me out in the maze.

Manila North Cemetery Officer in Charge Roselle Castaneda on Wednesday, 30 October 2019, said hard-to-locate tombs can now be traced using one’s finger tips.

All they have to do now she said, is log in to MNC’s website http://www.manilanorthcemetery.org.ph and presto, relatives can ably check on the availability of the names or tombs of their departed loved ones Castaneda said.

Data of their website added Castaneda is very accurate and one only has to write the names of any faithful departed and the site will immediately display the necessary information including the exact location of a tomb.

Aside from the locator website, Castaneda also said the MNC office is also prepared to extend help persons with disability and senior citizens who will visit the cemetery this All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day 2019.

The already have wheelchairs positioned in strategic areas of MNC she said. (BCUARESMA/IAMIGO/CNS)
