MANILA, Philippines — Joint elements of the Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras has arrested three suspected late Sunday in a drug buy-bust sting.

The arresting police officers led by Police Major Joefer Cabural and PDEA-Guimaras led by IA-V Ferdinand A. Kintanar, conducted the buy-bust operation around 10:00 p.m. in Brgy. Lucmayan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras that resulted in the arrest of Armando Go y Valerio, Loubert Santaromana y Flejoles and Sarah Del Rosario y Vargas.

Police and agents recovered 360 grams of suspected shabu placed inside sealed plastic sachets and two grenades.

The suspects were meted cases in violation of Sections 5, 11 and 26 in relation to Section 5 of Art. II RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (Jimmy Mendoza/Benjie Cuaresma/IAMIGO/CNS)
