FASTER THAN A BULLET TRAIN: 10 Seconds Business Permits Releasing in Valenzuela City The City Government of Valenzuela officially launches the "Paspas Permit", the Philippines’ first end-to-end 10-second online business permit application system, November 12, 2019 Starting November 13, business permit applicants in the city will be able to register, process, renew and pay pay for their permits online in just 10 seconds after the confirmation of payment. Actual business plates can be delivered at their doorsteps through GrabExpress or W Express Delivery. Joining City Mayor REX Gatchalian during the launch at Marco Polo Ortigas Hotel are Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Director General Atty. Jeremiah Belgica, EnP and Department of Trade and industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez who called the project “trailblazing” and “should be emulated by other LGUs and agencies”. “Paspas Permit” is part of the improved Valenzuela City 3S Plus Online Services which can be accessed through the City’s webpage — www.valenzuela.gov.ph. This system is also available for online processing of Real Property Tax payments (Treasurer’s Office), Requests for Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration, Tax Mapping Certificate, Certificate of Non-Improvement and Appraisal of Real Property (Assessor’s Office), Requests for Certified True Copy of Birth, Death and Marriage Certificate (Local Civil Registry), and Building and Construction Permits application (Office of the Building Official).
