In the historic enclave of Guadalupe Viejo, Makati, Casa Luningning has quietly established itself as a space where art and lived experience meet. More than a gallery, it is a private salon of sorts—bringing together fine art, rare prints, pottery, jewelry, furniture, and carefully sourced collectibles that move between the worlds of connoisseurship and daily life.
This March, as Makati becomes a natural meeting point for artists, collectors, and enthusiasts, Casa Luningning steps outside its gallery walls for its first pop-up presentation in collaboration with Cedo Wellness. Located in Salcedo Village just across the entrance of Jaime Velasquez Park, the wellness lounge provides an intimate and contemplative setting for a carefully assembled selection of works and objects.
Titled “Just in Case,” the exhibition reflects the quiet thrill of discovery familiar to collectors—the moment when an unexpected object resonates deeply enough to be carried home. The presentation brings together paintings, antique and contemporary prints,
sculptural ceramics, crystal singing bowls, Galle glass, jewelry, and other collectible pieces chosen for their aesthetic and historical character.
Rather than a conventional exhibition, the pop-up unfolds as a lived environment: a space where art, design, and atmosphere coexist. Within the calm interiors of Cedo Wellness, visitors are invited to pause, observe, and encounter objects that move fluidly between art and artifact.
In keeping with Casa Luningning’s philosophy, the exhibition celebrates the subtle relationship between collector and object—the belief that meaningful pieces often appear when one least expects them, waiting quietly to be noticed.
