Hold the Guilty Accountable: Corruption, Justice, and the People’s Call for Change
The rallying cry “Hold the Guilty Accountable” echoed once again as leaders from the Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), ORANG, and the Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP) demanded justice, an end to corruption, and true accountability in government.
From women to workers, one voice stood out: We are tired of abuse and injustice.
Ahead of the November 30 mobilization and Human Rights Week, the groups called for united action against impunity, political dynasties, and corruption in major projects such as flood control and climate response.
They called for systemic change toward a government that genuinely serves the people.
