“The Amazing Palayan City Night Market”

PALAYAN City – MAYOR Viandrei Nicole “Vianne” Joson Cuevas led the opening of “Palayan City Night Market” in Nueva Ecija, on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Dubbed “family, food, and fun,” the night market gives a simple joy and late-night adventure, not only for city residents but also for everyone,  Cuevas said, as she fondly referred to “Beautiful Vianne by her nickname.

It is a brainchild of Cuevas, who opened the first night market four years ago, which has created a positive impact on the neighboring towns and city residents.

The festivities highlight an authentic food experience, family night out, shopping, snacks, children’s rides, and a showcase of local products enlivened with live entertainment of local and celebrity artists as well as cultural presentations.

“With the incoming Ber Months and the spirit of the holiday season, and the night market promoting the city’s tourism, is part of the upcoming 60th founding anniversary and city festival slated on December 1-5, 2025”, said Cuevas.

The night market is located beside the new city modern park, supported by local entrepreneurs.

The mayor also envisions the city as a vibrant hub in Nueva Ecija and an emerging center of business industries in the province.

“The best part of memories is making them together, I invite everyone to take part and have a truly wonderful experience,” said Cuevas, who is the daughter of MPBL’s  Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguard owner Vicente “Bong” Cuevas and Adrianne Mae “Rianne” Joson Cuevas, the former and charming mayor of Palayan City.
