Impeach Sara. Impeach Political Dynasties

on

Before you read this, let me make something clear—I once believed in Sara Duterte. I was among those who recommended her for the vice presidency. I admired her when she stood up to protect the rights of illegal settlers in Davao, showing what I thought was the courage and compassion of a true leader. In those moments, I believed she could be different.

But hope is a dangerous thing when placed in the wrong hands.

The frustration we felt during her father’s term led us to rationalize our past decisions. Maybe we weren’t wrong about Rody Duterte, we thought—maybe his daughter, a lawyer with a softer image, would be the leader we had been waiting for. It was a logical choice. We were willing to give her a chance.

Sara Duterte won. And thank God that before we could even push her further, He revealed her true nature to us.

Three years in office, and what has she given us? Divisiveness. Self-interest. Arrogance. She has become, willingly or unwittingly, a tool of foreign powers that want nothing more than to see our country in chaos. And when her intelligence budget was scrutinized, she responded like a spoiled child denied a toy, rallying her supporters to defend her excesses rather than explaining herself to the people who put her in power.

This is the entitlement of political dynasties. They believe that power is their birthright, that public funds are theirs to distribute as they please, that accountability does not apply to them. When challenged, they do not explain—they retaliate. And when we demand justice, we are met with mockery.

Her father’s words echo with impunity: the money was given to her, and she alone decides how to spend it. In English, there may be no single word for this shamelessness. But in Filipino, there is one—*walang hiya.*

This administration, guilty of the same offenses, is no better. We are suffering. More than 60% of our people cannot eat properly. Jobs are scarce. Every centavo of the national budget should be spent with precision and care. Yet, these dynastic rulers treat our country’s wealth like an inheritance meant to be squandered.

Enough.

For too long, we have allowed oligarchs, aristocrats, and political dynasties to drain the lifeblood of our nation. But God has given us a rare opportunity to begin their destruction. Let us start with the Dutertes. And once we have dismantled their stronghold, we must turn our eyes to the others.

We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to our sons and daughters. We owe it to the future generations of Filipinos who deserve a nation free from the stranglehold of parasitic families that have long treated this country as their personal playground. If we fail to act now, what kind of nation will we leave behind? Are we not ashamed?

Impeaching Sara Duterte is not just about her—it is about breaking the chains that have bound us for centuries. It is about ensuring that those who lead us do so not because of their last name, but because of their integrity and love for this country.

And the Senate should immediately start the ball rolling. Why? Well, the PDP-Laban vowed to make this into the main electoral issue.

Imagine, for all the myriad things that bedevil our society, such as inflation, unemployment, etc., the PDP-Laban choosing to make it their “cause” to campaign for candidates who would protect the hide of Ms. Duterte and the Duterte parasitic dynasty.

When we succeed in this mission of destroying this dynasty, include their entire network of parasites. When we destroy a dynasty, we destroy their whole network of accomplices, parasites all of them. Let them suffer for choosing to be at the wrong side of history.

This is our moment. This is our fight. Let us begin.
