Oil companies announced on Monday the price adjustments for their petroleum products, where both diesel and gasoline price will increase, while kerosene will go the other way.
Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., and Seaoil Philippines Corp. issued separate advisories on their price hikes.
For gasoline it will go up by P0.90 per liter, while diesel also goes on an upward trend by P1.05.
Kerosene on the other hand will be deducted by P0.25 per liter.
Cleanfuel on the other hand will also implement the same charges except for kerosene which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, for all the firms except for Caltex which will adjust prices at 12:01 a.m. and Cleanfuel at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
Last week, oil companies cut down prices per liter of diesel by P2.20 and kerosene by P2.50. Gasoline prices were unchanged.
