The Department of Health (DOH) has just reported two additional coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) deaths, on top of the one death earlier announced this Saturday morning.

According to the DOH report, “this brings the total number of COVID-19 mortalities in the country to eight.”

“This includes the mortality earlier announced by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center in San Fernando, Pampanga,” said the DOH in a statement Saturday afternoon.

The DOH said they are currently gathering further details on the recent deaths and will provide as soon as it  is available./Stacy Ang
