PH COVID-19 updates:  5,223 positive;  335 deaths;  295 recoveries

The Philippines number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases continues to rise as 291 new cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 5,223.

“As of 4PM today, April 14, 2020, the Department of Health reports 291 new cases (PH4933-PH5223) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 5,223,” said DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin #031.

The DOH also reported 20 new deaths. This brings the total number of deaths to 335.

The DOH also announced 53 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 295./Stacy Ang
