EU-TURKEY PACT 2016 NOW DEAD–GREEK PM

GREEK PRIME MINISTER KYRIAKOS MITSOTAKIS SAYS THE EUROPEAN UNION’S PACT WITH TURKEY IS DEAD, A PACT WHICH ASSURES FINANCIAL AID TO THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT IN EXCHANGE OF TURKISH COOPERATION IN STEMMING THE TIDE OF REFUGEE INFLOW TO THE European Union, SPECIFICALLY GREECE.

Tensions rose between Turkey and Greece after reports of Greece’s security enforceMENT AGENCIES USING LETHAL FORCE AGAINST THOUSANDS OF REFUGEES TRYING TO CROSS THE TURKISH BORDERS UNTO GREECE.

GREECE HAS BEEN PERSISTENTLY REMINDING THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT ABOUT THIS. THE GREEK PM REMAINS ADAMANT—IT NEEDS TO PROTECT ITS BORDERS AND IT IS ITS SOVEREIGN RIGHTS TO DO SO.

Turkey remains adamant until the EU honors its financial aid commitment.
